We at the Maharishi School in Lancashire are very excited and proud to announce the official opening of our new Secondary School building which takes place on Monday April 16th 2012.
Our new school building will be named the ‘Morris Birnbaum Building’ in honour and recognition of the tremendous support Ian and Helen Birnbaum have given the Maharishi School – and enabled us to open consciousness based education up to so many new pupils this year and in the future.
“Ian and Helen Birnbaum have been consistent supporters of the Maharishi School over many years. In recognition of this support the Trustees of Maharishi School Trust wanted to name the newly converted secondary school in their honour. The name they chose is the Morris Birnbaum Building in memory of their parents, all of whom had a profound belief in the transformative power of education.”
There will be a short official opening ceremony on Monday 16th April at 9.45am – straight after school drop-off on the first day back after the Easter break – and all parents and friends of the Maharishi School are warmly invited to come along and celebrate the start of this fantastic new chapter with us. We look forward to seeing you there!
