Intermediate Maths Challenge 2008

 

Seven students excelled in this year’s competition.

Molly Deary (Year10), Helen Jackson (Year11)  and Ruth Ingram (Year10) will receive Bronze certificates.  Freddy Fuller (Year10), Jed O’Connor (Year9) and Arthur Mercer (Year11) will receive Silver certificates.

 

Jonathan Jedrczak will receive a Gold certificate and has been invited to the even higher-level ‘Year 9 Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad’.  Only the top 500 year 9 students in the country are invited!

 

Over 202,000 students entered the competition in 2008 out of a student population on more than 3 million.

Bronze certificate = top 20%

Silver certificate = top 14%

Gold certificate = top 6%
