Maharishi
School pupils delight visitors from all over the world with
their remarkable eagerness for knowledge, with their happiness,
and with their profound grasp of the deepest principles of
life. These pupils exhibit a beautiful balance and wholeness
that is rarely seen in other schools. The reason for this
noticeable difference is the use of Consciousness-based Education
founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, which includes Transcendental
Meditation, as an essential part of their daily classroom
timetable.
Situated
in a beautifully converted traditional stone building, Maharishi
School also utilises a purpose built sports and art centre.
In addition to providing a facility for primary and secondary
school sport, the centre provides an ideal environment for
teaching art.
Maharishi School also utilises local specialist sport and
athletics facilities to provide varied and enjoyable exercise
and sport.
