Current pupils travel from Ormskirk, Parbold, Skelmersdale, Wigan, Newburgh and Burscough and other areas in Lancashire and Merseyside.
The Maharishi School is located in Lathom, close to Skelmersdale in West Lancashire between post codes L40 and WN8. It was founded in 1986 and includes a primary school (reception to year 6), and a secondary school (year 7 to year 11).
It is registered with the Department for Education and Skills as an independent school.
